To the Church Family at Pembroke Baptist Church

Alice and I want to thank you for these last 15 months. It truly has been a blessing for both of us as we have had the privilege of serving our Savior with you.

You have loved us and accepted us with open arms. Your hospitality and generous spirit has amazed us. We praise God for allowing us to be with you for this time. You have encouraged and blessed us far more than we can ever repay.

Sunday night, July 18, was the crowning expression of your love. We expected a great time of fellowship and good food (and we were not disappointed), but the many cards from families, from young children, and individuals with gracious and kind words were more than we expected. Then the gifts from individuals, and the church..... what can we say? "Thank You" seems so little and over used.

We know your next Pastor and his family will be coming to a place of love and acceptance.

We are excited and praying about the possiblility of your next Pastor coming soon. Would you please pray for us as God reveals the next assignment He has for us?

"God is not unjust. He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them." (Hebrews 6:10)
